I truly believe that the health of our dogs depends on the nutritional value of the food they eat, their everyday well-being, and living a natural nontoxic lifestyle. If you provide these important components in their lives you will see your pet thrive.
I created this site after decades of dog ownership and years of research on these topics. By following the best animal nutritionists, holistic veterinarians and over a decade of herbal study, I've educated myself and now I want to share what I have learned with you.

The information that you will find here is to help you feel confident about how you can easily and nutritiously feed your dog, make them homemade treats, create a simple at home all natural first aid kit and how to know if you have possible toxins in your environment that you are sharing with your pet, as well as toxins you may be putting into their bodies.

Let me simplify everyday care for your furry family member so you will have many years of health and happiness together.
I'm from Cape Cod where I live
with my husband and my little dog Ivy
I have been a dog owner for over 40 years. Owning rescue and pure bred dogs, large breed over 100 pounds and now a tiny breed at 5 pounds, loving them as part of my family everyday. All of my dogs
had long lives, some healthier than others. It was some of their health problems that led me down this road.

Animals have been a constant part of my life. While raising 3 wonderful boys I encouraged a household that could experience the joy and responsibility of pet ownership. I taught them that the most important things to raising a pet was the food that they ate, the habitat that they lived in, and to respect them always. The food needed to be nutritious, their living environment needed to always be clean and safe and it was up to us to make sure they were treated with love and kindness and cared for constantly. We enjoyed raising everything you can imagine. We had mice, hamsters, bunny, guinea pig, lovebird, cats, dogs and even sugar gliders (which we had for over 16 years)

Following the best animal nutritionists, holistic veterinarians, and being an herbalist for over 10 years has taught me so much. Seeing the pet food industry change over the last decade or so has had such an impact on my life as a dog owner. Raising your dog with a natural, simple, common sense approach is easier than you think. I want to give you the confidence that you know enough to ensure your dog is getting everything it needs to live a healthy life.
